Rockhopper's Quest '12!

Hello Penguins!

Feathergreen here with the highlights of the 2012 Rockhopper's Quest! I sure am glad this is not another membership advertisement, like the the past two "parties". The Fashion Show, and the Underwater Expedition were basically membership advertisements, but for once, this is the first actual party of the year. Onto the highlights!

Before you get onto Rockhopper's Ship, don't forget to pick up a free Crew Cap at the Beach! (avaliable to all players)

UPDATE 2/29/12: Club Penguin mysteriously switched the Crew Cap with a Life Vest. This is unusual considering the fact that this item was given out to all players when Rockhopper's Ship, the Migrator, crashed into an iceberg and sunk to the bottom of the ocean back in January 2008

NOW, you can get on board to the Migrator! In fact, EVERYBODY (including non-members) can go on this quest! Yahoo!

You can see that the Migrator is pretty decked out for this quest. It's got armor, drills, a gigantic fan, and everything!

Now, you might be pretty ticked off of one teensy little difference about the Migrator on Rockhopper's visit this time. Look closely at the ship, THERE'S NO SHOP! Unfortunately, we must wait until Rockhopper's NEXT visit to Club Penguin.

Also, if you are a non-member, now is maybe your only chance to get the Out to Sea stamp, which is only recieved by sailing away from the island on a boat.

The first stop is the Swashbuckler Trading Post. Pretty neat, huh?

See the cargo up on that plank of wood? You must click on it, so it will bring it back to the ship! Now there USED to be cargo, but since I took these pictures AFTER I did the quest, there is no cargo there anymore, but you get the point.

Member Girls! You can buy swashbuckler clothing over in the trading post!

I am now going to hand over the post to my pal Feathergleen, because there is really no point in taking pictures of an empty box or something because I already did the quest. I found out he hadn't done it yet, so the cargo is there! Feathergleen, I now turn to you.

Thank you, Feathergreen. Now that our buisness is through here, let's get back on the ship. Our second stop, Dinosaur Island!

See that diamond over there? That is the second piece of cargo you must bring back to the ship. Click on it, and a note will appear saying ti was added to the ship, but watch out for the...

... trap.

You could just get out of the trap by walking through it, but I suggest it's good if you are making a video, and somebody just landed in jail. Just a suggestion.

Members! (unlike me), there is ANOTHER catalog!

Our last stop is Shipwreck Island. Pretty spooky, huh?

What Feathergreen has circled are the parts to the Shipwreck Beacon. They were a bit hard to see, so that's why he circled it. He's a pretty cruddy artist, don't you think?

HEY!

*slugs Feathergleen in the flipper*

Owwwwch!

... anyways, before I run over to get an ice pack, click the parts of the Shipwreck Beacon until you build it. After you build it, you will get a Shipwreck Beacon Pin. I cannot disclose the picture here, but you could check out the Pins section of this site.

NOTE TO ALL EPF AGENTS: If you accepted the Field Op for this week, after you build the Shipwreck Beacon, your EPF cell phone will go off, and when you click on it, it will say "Location Found". This means you have found Field Op #70 and you have to solve the puzzle, so your work isn't done just yet.

Now, Feathergreen will pick up where I left off, while I go get an ice pack from the freezer. Feathergreen, back to you.

Thanks Feathergleen, and no thanks Feathergleen for calling my artwork cruddy.

*calls from a faraway distance* Sorry!

Anyways, Members! Before you leave Shipwreck Island, don't foget to go into the glowing green cave, otherwise known as the Hall of the Viking Lords!

See that casket over there? If you click on it, the casket will open up, to reveal a Viking Lord Helmet, and some Viking Lord Armor!

Now that the quest is overwith, you could get back on the ship and sail back to Club Penguin Island. If you want to get back onto the ship again, there will be a little sign on the front of the ship. Click the sign, and it will show a map of all the islands. Click on the island you want to go to, and you are automatically warped there. Now you could go back to any island you want!

This is Feathergreen

*calls from a faraway distance* and Feathergleen!

Signing off. That's all for now, and enjoy the 2012 Rockhopper's Quest!

Fashion Show Going on Now at the Gift Shop!

Hello, Penguins!

Feathergreen here with the Fashion Show '12! It is going on at the Gift Shop! Check it out!

Alright, to be honest with you, this has GOT to be one of the WORST Club Penguin Parties EVER. Want to know why I am saying this? It is kind of a long explanation.

I think Club Penguin put this party on to advertise memberships. I think they want to brainwash member girls to show off their clothing to non-member girls and walk up and down the runway they have set up, so non-member girls will eventually become members, and pay, not $5.95 like it used to be, but $7.95 a month. I have some evidence why my hypothesis might be correct:

1. The Gift Shop is like a non-member hotspot, because they like sitting in the hairdryer chairs chatting, or they are there buying flags or backgrounds.

2. Notice how I never mentioned free items at this party. The reason why I didn't mention it was because THERE ARE NONE! That just proves that this isn't even a real party, and that non-members don't have a chance to show off

3. Most non-members I see around are girls, so they made the Fashion Show to target all the girl penguins, including non-members.

4. They are trying to jinx things like the Underwater Expedition, which turned out to be not an expedition at all if you weren't a member, so that was an advertisement too. Here is why:

. There was a place where you had to clean up the Dock from all of it's garbage, and if you clean up all of the garbage, you get a background. This is basically treating non-members like slaves

. The free item was an anvil called a "Heavy Hat" It was shaped like an anvil, and obviously you cannot swim with an anvil, and you would drown

. The actual expedition was only open to members, so if they needed to meet their member friends someplace, they would have to wait ashore for awhile until their friends returned.

That's all for now, and I hope you, well, sort-of enjoy the Fashion Show.
