Holiday Party 2011!

Hello, Penguins!

Feathergreen here with the highlights of the 2011 Holiday Party! As we all know, this used to be called the Christmas Party, but in 2010, as they were becoming more worldwide, Club Penguin realized that not everybody celebrated Christmas due to their religion, so they renamed the party the "Holiday Party". They took about 20 Christmas trees out of the picture. Bummer. Anyways, on with the highlights!

As everybody knows, I always like to start off with the member's only sections. So here we go.

This year, Club Penguin added the Bakery. Check it out!

The Bakery is open for non-members as well, except they are not allowed to go into the Bakery Kitchen, which is on the other side of the counter. To get onto the other side, in the Dance Lounge, there is a door marked "Staff Only". That means "Members Only" Sorry nons.

Before you make cookies, it is recommended that you get a Cookie Serving Apron. You don't have to get one, but I suggest you should because it's a FREE ITEM TO MEMBERS!

See that microwave over there marked "Gingerbread Igloo"? Well, that's exactly what it sounds like. If you press the yellow button, you get a FREE Deluxe Gingerbread House Igloo! Non-members can click this too, but instead of getting a confirmation button, non-members will get a window advertising memberships.

As we all know, there is the traditional Santa's Sleigh, where if you deliver 15 presents into chimneys, you will get a free item! (Member's Only)

But this year, it is spiced up a bit. There are three different prizes, depending on how much presents you deliver. They are Decoration Costumes! Here is the key:

Gold Decoration Costume- 15 Presents (one round)
Cranberry Decoration Costume- 30 Presents (two rounds)
Evergreen Decoration Costume- 45 Presents (three rounds)

But, there are some free items for non-members and members!

Head on down to the Coffee Shop and go up to the Book Room. Sit on the Santa's Chair, and click on the camera. You should see a flash, and you get a free Santa's Seat Background!

Plus, if you donate to Coins for Change, for any amount for any reason, you will get a free pin, but I suggest you head on over to Feathergreen's Club Penguin Glitch Guide: The Pins.

It all comes down, best for last. If you go down to the Forest, you will see an Advent House with numbered windows. Those numbers represent the date it is, and for every day, there is a new gift! Click on the windows, and you will receive a gift for each day! The best part of this, is that you don;t have to be a member for this!

It goes like this: If today was December 17th, you would click on the window marked "17", and get a gift. If you missed a day or two, you can still click on the window and get your gift! How awesome is that?

Here is the key to the prizes for each day. NOTE: If today was December 17th, and you clicked on the window marked "24", or any number above 17, a note will come up telling you to come back on that day to receive your gift on that day. Don't even think about setting your computer's clock ahead, because that won't work.

December 14th- The Jingle Bell

December 15th- Holiday Tree Background

December 16th- Candy Cane Duo Pin

December 17th- Coins for Change Cap

December 18th- North Pole Background

December 19th- Holiday Stocking Pin

Feathergreen here with the arrival of Rockhopper to Club Penguin. As we know, Rockhopper is here just in time for the Holiday Party! Not only is here here to celebrate the Holiday Party, but he is also here for Coins for Change! Coins for Change is basically like The Giving Tree in real life, but in Club Penguin, depending on ow much coins you donate, all of your coins will be transfered as ACTUAL MONEY, and all that money will go to either to provide medical help, protect the earth, or build safe places, depending on what you choose.
